Oppo has launched the F27, a new mid-range smartphone that combines solid specifications with notable durability features. Positioned as an affordable option, it brings a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, 5G connectivity, and fast charging to the competitive budget segment.
Design & Display
The Oppo F27 features a sleek design measuring 163mm tall and 7.7mm thin, weighing 187 grams. It's available in Green and Orange color options and boasts an IP64 rating for dust and water splash resistance.
The device sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 2100 nits and Asahi Glass protection, the screen offers good visibility even in bright conditions.
Performance & Hardware
At its core, the Oppo F27 utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process. The octa-core processor combines two Cortex-A76 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 2.0GHz, paired with the ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSDXC card.
Camera
The dual-camera system on the rear consists of a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. The camera supports HDR, panorama, and can record 1080p video at 30/60fps with gyro-EIS stabilization.
For selfies and video calls, there's a 32MP front-facing camera that also records 1080p video at 30fps.
Battery & Charging
A 5000mAh battery powers the device, supporting 45W wired charging with USB Power Delivery 3.0. The phone also features reverse wired charging, allowing it to function as a power bank for other devices.
Software & Features
The Oppo F27 runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin out of the box. It includes an under-display fingerprint sensor and various other sensors including accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
Connectivity
