At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited, tech leaders Sundar Pichai (Google CEO) and Mark Zuckerberg (Meta CEO) announced major partnerships with Reliance, aiming to accelerate India’s entry into an AI-driven era.
🤖 Zuckerberg’s Vision of Personal Superintelligence
Zuckerberg highlighted Meta’s goal of delivering “personal superintelligence” to every Indian, powered by open-source AI models. According to him, these advanced AI systems could empower individuals with new tools to create, innovate, and shape their futures.
“Superintelligence is the next step in giving everyone access to powerful AI. With Reliance, we will deliver open-source AI models to Indian businesses to help fuel their growth and transformation,” Zuckerberg said.
☁️ Pichai’s Google Cloud Expansion in Jamnagar
Pichai underlined India’s critical role in the global AI revolution. To support this, Google announced a dedicated Google Cloud region in Jamnagar, built specifically for Reliance. This initiative aims to accelerate AI adoption across industries—from large corporations to small local shops.
“Our decade-long partnership with Reliance has already brought affordable internet to millions of Indians. Now, we are expanding this collaboration to shape the next leap with AI,” Pichai added.
🌍 Transforming India’s Digital Future
Both Meta and Google emphasized that these collaborations are not just about technology, but about democratizing AI and enabling individuals and businesses across India to benefit from the opportunities of artificial intelligence and, eventually, superintelligence.
