WhatsApp Introduces AI-Powered Writing Help Feature

WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature called Writing Help, designed to improve the way users write and send messages. The tool is powered by Meta AI and will soon be available on both Android and iOS devices, including Samsung Galaxy phones that do not have Galaxy AI.

📌 What Does Writing Help Do?

The feature offers grammar corrections, smoother sentence flow, and stylistic improvements. Users can choose from three writing styles: professional, funny, and supportive. This makes it easier to refine messages without leaving the app.

🚀 How to Use It

Writing Help can be accessed in individual or group chats by tapping the new pencil icon located beside the emoji button. At the moment, the feature is available for English users in the US and select countries, with plans to expand to more languages later this year.

🔒 Privacy and Security

WhatsApp ensures that message privacy is protected. The feature uses Meta’s Private Processing technology, which generates suggestions without allowing Meta or WhatsApp to read user messages or the improved text.

This addition makes messaging more convenient by integrating writing assistance directly into WhatsApp, eliminating the need to switch to external apps for text editing.
